Coffee Body Scrub
Coffee Body Scrub made simply at home with ground coffee, honey, sugar and olive oil for shower time to hit those trouble spots on your body.
Why use coffee on your skin? Coffee can help reduce inflammation, redness and most importantly cellulite! The coffee grounds are a natural exfoliate to get rid of dead skin cells and reveal brighter, more beautiful skin.
Other ingredients for this Coffee Body Scrub include olive oil, sugar and honey. Olive oil is a powerful moisturizing, sugar helps with exfoliation and the honey is included for the anti-aging properties.
This Coffee Body Scrub can be slightly messy. I recommend to use in the shower first thing and target those trouble areas such as the thighs, butt and stomach twice a week. Try the Oatmeal Honey Body Scrub to exfoliate the rest of your body during shower time for gorgeous skin all over.
How to make Coffee Body Scrub
What you need:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup coffee grounds
- 1 tablespoon honey
How to make Coffee Body Scrub:
- You can use fresh coffee grounds but I like to utilize coffee grounds that have been brewed. After brewing a pot of coffee dry the grounds by placing them into an unused coffee filter set into a regular filter to remove excess liquid as shown in the photo above. Wait until the grounds are dry (usually takes 2 days) and start making the scrub.
- Mix dry coffee grounds and brown sugar together using a fork.
- Add in the olive oil and honey. Mix well.
- Store in a sealable container to use while showering.
