Long Leopard Cardigan

February 6, 2019 by Amber

amazon

It is that time of year for some comfortable, effortless outfits like this look with a Long Leopard Cardigan. The kind of outfit you can toss on and head out in with cold, rainy weather- this is it.

February through April are sort of downer months for me. All the cold and rain and just being SO OVER winter and so ready for spring I just tend to reach into the wardrobe for more comfortable outfit solutions. A t-shirt, jeans, my go-to black booties, an effortless cardigan and add in some fun with matching mommy and me beanies.

This outfit is really all about this Long Leopard Cardigan found on Amazon for only $29.99. It comes in other colors like pink but I went with Espresso to match a lot of outfits. I love this paired with black leggings and a black top for another effortless style.

Find some kids leopard print also!

  • Peanut Butter Swirl Chocolate Bark is a really quick and simple treat made with dark chocolate, peanut butter baking chips and crunchy peanuts sprinkled over top. click through profile @amber_food_lifestyle and visit Simply Made Recipes for full recipe. Search: CHOCOLATE BARK.

#yum #dessert #foodie #feedme #chocolate #recipe #dessertlover #peanutbutter #delish
INGREDIENTS:

12 ounces dark chocolate, (chips or bar)

1 cup peanut butter baking chips

1/4 cup peanuts, (chopped )

INSTRUCTIONS:

Chop peanuts. If using a chocolate bar instead of chocolate chips, chop into pieces.

Place parchment paper onto a baking sheet.

Melt the chocolate and peanut butter in separate microwavable safe bowls or glasses. I like to use large coffee mugs. Melt in 30 seconds increments, stir between each until both are melted.

Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the parchment covered baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread the chocolate to 1/4 inch thickness.

Use a spoon to place the melted peanut butter chips on top in 4 lines.

Immediately take a knife or skewer to create the swirl pattern with the peanut butter.

Sprinkle chopped peanuts over top.

Chill for 15 minutes, break into 16 pieces and serve.

#soup #recipe #yum #cheese #potato #ham #instayum #foodie #feedme
INGREDIENTS:

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1/2 yellow onion, (finely diced)

2 celery, (diced)

2 carrots, (peeled and diced)

3 garlic cloves, (minced)

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

4 cups chicken broth

1 cup whole milk

2 large Russet potatoes, (peeled and diced)

2 cups ham, (diced)

1 bay leaf

2 cups cheddar cheese, (shredded)

sea salt

ground pepper

chives

INSTRUCTIONS:

Rinse the celery, carrots and potatoes. Peel the carrots and potatoes.

Dice the celery, carrots, potatoes and onion. Mince the garlic cloves.

Dice the ham. If using leftover ham, rinse off any glaze beforehand.

Melt the butter in a soup pot on the stovetop on a medium-high heat.

Add carrots, celery and onion to the pot. Stir and cook until onion is translucent.

Add garlic and stir until fragrant (about 1 minute). Immediately add the flour followed by broth and milk. Stir well.

Add ham and potatoes. Stir and bring to a boil.

Salt and pepper to taste. I find salt isn't necessary in this recipe but you may like it.

Reduce to a simmer and add a bay leaf. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender when poked with a fork. Time can vary depending on the size the potatoes were diced.

Remove bay leaf. Add a cup and a half of the cheese. Stir. Turn off heat and serve.

Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top with chives and freshly ground pepper
