Olaf’s Winter White Chocolate Popcorn
Olaf’s Winter White Chocolate Popcorn with candy melts, freshly popped popcorn and fun snowflake sprinkles. We are also reading Olaf’s Night Before Christmas with an easy craft to Build a Snowman.
December may be the most stressful time of year for me. It is just so darn chaotic and busy. I love this Olaf’s Winter White Chocolate Popcorn because it literally takes minutes to make and we made an extra fun night with a new Christmas book and a really easy snowman activity. So even in the chaos, there is enough time to sit by the Christmas tree read a book, eat a delicious snack and do a quick craft with the family.
Olaf’s Winter White Chocolate Popcorn
Olaf’s Winter White Chocolate Popcorn can be whipped up in no time at all. What you need:
- 9 cups popped popcorn (about 1 bag)
- 6 ounces white chocolate candy melts (1 cup)
- .5 -1 cup Winter Sprinkles
- Parchment paper
- Small glass bowl for chocolate melting
- baking sheet
- 9 cups popped popcorn (1 bag)
- 6 ounces white chocolate candy melts
- .5 cup sprinkles (can do more sprinkles)
- Pop the popcorn in the microwave according to box directions.
- Place some parchment out on a baking sheet and spread the popcorn out. Remove any kernels.
- Melt the chocolate by placing in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir and cook another 30 seconds.
- Stir the chocolate and pour over popcorn.
- This is hot so be careful! Mix the popcorn and chocolate together.
- Before the chocolate sets up, place the sprinkles on mixture and mix again.
- Let set and serve. When it is cold out like it is now, it will only take a couple minutes until you can serve.
Now, time to get all snuggled by the Christmas tree. Grab a bowl of Olaf’s Winter White Chocolate Popcorn, Olaf’s Night Before Christmas and Build a Snowman containers.
Build a Snowman
This Build A Snowman is an affordable and simple holiday craft. They come in packs of 3 and there is no mess. Placing the activity on a clean surface is ideal because fibers can stick to the snowman, however. With a dog, a cat, a ferret in this house… I’m not sure we can do anything without a hair getting in it though.
Open the containers and cut open the plastic bag holding the “snow”. Let the kids shape their snowman and place the eyes, nose and arms in place to complete. Piece of cake! The material will dry out so you can make decorations out of them or seal it back up in the container after use.

One problem.
My daughter would not let me read the whole book without breaking out in song or screaming OLAF randomly!
“Let it go! Let it goooo!”
