What to Wear to Thanksgiving Dinner
We are counting down to the holidays and Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away? Can you believe it? It seems like the kids were just going back to school… like yesterday! I am sharing What to Wear to Thanksgiving Dinner for something simple, comfortable and super affordable.
Am I the only one that cannot wrap their head around the fact Thanksgiving is basically HERE. Insane! I am glad I have the majority of my Christmas shopping complete because things get hectic around here. This holiday, I wanted a really simple outfit. I know I wanted comfort and just a splash of fall colors and I didn’t want to spend any money. My kids are sucking up all my funds with Christmas- for real! The dress is easy to slip on and can be worn with tights or leggings. Be aware that the dress is short (wearing xs) so if you are really tall (I am only 5’3”) then, there may not be enough fabric to cover your parts so double check measurements before ordering so you get the right fit.
The price breakdown for this entire outfit is only $95.99. This includes the shoes and purse! Most of the items were ordered from Shein where you get free express shipping for orders over $100 so keep that in mind because their regular shipping can take a long while and Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Maybe add a few sweaters in your cart (worth it). Also, I purchased these boots for under $20 at Costco so if you are a member, it is worth checking in your Costco store before ordering online to save a few extra bucks. How can you pass up $20 booties that can be worn with anything? Love these boots!

My mini wasn’t left out of this one! We found her a great little outfit for Thanksgiving also that came in at $47.99. This includes purse and shoes! My dress fit perfect without any alterations needed but Cate’s outfit required a few. I bought the dress in size 120 (typically she wears a 4T or xs in little girls) from Shein and the waist was perfect but the length was long so I hemmed the skirt to come up well above the knees. Easy fix that only took a few minutes. You could also use some double sided fabric tape temporarily so your child can wear the dress next year also if the length is a little long for your daughter also. The other thing I had my husband do was remove a bunch of links from the purse. The purse is a kids purse but long enough for an adult so a pair of pliers took care of that!
